Dedication To The Musicians: Life Is A Music Video

DENVER-MUSIC-PHOTOGRAPHER-0002

What is music, but a measure of our lives, colliding from the hands of an artist into the open ear of a listener. The soundscapes shift our perception into the moment, draw us nearer to what is before us. Peering out through the window I see the world is slightly lifted, a cinematic overture, as the projections reel past my open eyes, the music carries the world deep inside, yet colors the world outside with my emotion, the soundtracks that carry us through to the end, and the next, of what may come back around the bend.

Momentary

Though darkness sweeps hard against the rigid spine, I will not void the tresspass, I shall summit the mountain. If by the grace of ghosts, the light cannot see without reflection. I cup the water in shaky hands, as the morning broods awake. The slow release of time comforts the final steps, to move with accord of what flows through the wind, as no divide exists, beyond memory, time is without shackles. The moon carries over the tide, weak and weary I rest atop with angels. I never saw such dreams as vivid as the moment I stopped to see the world as it is, as it was, as it will be, with or without me.

To Return You Must First Leave

Remember what coils up inside, let go of whatever binds, gather up the warmth that is needed, then strike out into the depths of the Wild. Seek out the experience, this is how we save ourselves from ourselves. This is how we find the tuning to bend the strings, to bring harmony back to our senses, to bring harmony back to our world.

It Is Meant To Be Fulfilled

Life is not something to be solved, some riddle to be cracked, rather it is something to be continually respected, honored and experienced. Imagine if you will, that you happen to be a congregation filled with adams (atoms) and eves (electrons), all attending to the daily services and resurrections of maintening this life within this temple of your experiencing body and mind. Why would you wish to do them any disservice, by trying to dissamble what they have worked so hard to form, this co-dependent relationship with you and the surrounding sensous world. Such an experience can never truely be solved, but may it always be wrapped up infinitily in its beauty and its awe, of what it is to bear witness to its own rise and fall, seeing out through your blessed eyes.

The Traveler

flores-06-2014-07-25-_mg_2383

The celestial carpenter, values spiracle rapture, to interpret the condition amongst splintered wood drifting on the shore, wind swept rain brushed against an obscured sky, to renounce the debris and reframe its mast, mastering concentrated wisdom, to reveal its character fit for the sea, the vessel is made anew as it is shoved off to be with the omniscient waves that dance across the shoals, carried out to brave new worlds, enveloped in the presence of truth, the sails unveil, rising with the wind, carving through the waters, the beat of the ocean is felt against its bow, riveting as the wild venture reclaims the helm and sets its course for the endless beginnings, the terminus without conclusion.

The High Seas

goonies

The great pirates. The strategy, to divide and conquer. Like windswept rain they raced upon the open seas, hungry ghosts questing for scattered lands floating upon the surface. Was their insignia only filled with greed for glittering silvers and gold or was it also the journey that was to unfold, the adventures of the unknown. To brave the waters, to face death, to leave their young and loved behind. In-between all the bad things they may have done, all the lives they may have fractured, was there a moment of redemption as they kissed the salted sea and dreamed of better days. Goonies never say day.
