Once we gathered, for warmth, for protection, for belonging and understanding, for growth and depth, yet we have wandered. Leaving these fires unattended, as all but a few embers still remain. Are we to stay within our own center, so entranced by self interests, or are we, are we to return to the periphery. To tend the fires that have brought us here, to honor and restore our sense of place and being. To cultivate and share our many gifts. To evolve, with that of our kind and that of this momentous and interdependent more-than-human-world that surrounds us, that beckons us to come home.
