Before They Pass Away

Many moons have passed, some red, some white, some brown, some yellow. Many peoples have tried to stay the course, to follow the seasons, to remember the winds that blow through the four directions. How forgetful we have all become, divided under one Nation, under one God, under one Flag. Remind us how to walk again with our original nature, meet us by the sacred fire, teach us how to speak and how to listen, we are but children who have forgotten their mother.

In tribute to all indigenous people who have fallen or are still struggling to survive.
