Contemplating Tragedies

Trying to figure out everyday matters, surrounding ourselves with distractions, a world drowned in media, we watched, we mourned, realizing the birds are just plastic, the moon a deflated balloon, left here by accident like snot upon the sleeve, stuck in traffic, covered in gasoline, waging tiny wars, a little distance just might save us, for a while.
