You folded yourself up into a napkin, to wipe that silly look off my face, without my asking, you told me it was on my left cheek, but my mistakes had stained my right, laughing out loud at how serious I had become with my past as you slowly wiped it all away, with just a touch it was gone, and so were you, you left a note on the napkin, it read, I’m sorry it was so hard, I’m sorry that I was on the left, while you were on the right, I’ll be waiting in the middle should you find your way.
